You know what I LOVE about a great midi skirt? Not only can it be worn a ton of different ways – but it can be worn casual to dressy, and all year LONG!
When I know I can wear it often, it’s a great investment. But this skirt doesn’t even break the bank! It’s the look of a designer skirt and great quality – for under 25 BUCKS! And it comes in a bunch of color options.
So let’s talk about some different styling options. When you think “skirt” – it doesn’t have to be only when you’re dressed “fancy”. It’s so much fun to play with dressed “down”, too! So here are three ideas for midi skirt styling!
How to style a midi skirt for the end of summer into fall:
-
With a t-shirt and sneakers! Grab a plain pair of white sneaks – I like to call them “fashion sneakers” and wear with a great white t-shirt, either plain or a graphic tee. Throw a knot in it for some extra shape or give it a slight tuck at the top. What you’ll want to avoid is a long t shirt just hanging down past the skirt because you’ll lose your shape! Cinch it in with a tie or a tuck and you’ll be good to go.
-
With a bodysuit and a pair of mules! I love a bodysuit because it has the look of a tank or more form-fitting top without riding up at the top! Throw on a neutral mule and you have a polished look, while also being super comfy. Opt for either a statement necklace or statement earring to make it even more fun!
-
With a cami and block heels! A light pink cami tucked in a bit and then billowed over the top of the skirt waistline for that “effortlessly chic” look. The block heel has the comfort of a sandal while giving a little height and a bit more “dressed up” – and the necklace creates a casual feel by adding in the coin trend in a fun and unexpected way.
Hope this was super helpful to you as you style your midi skirt for summer into fall!
